Best Recipe for Homemade Rosewater?

Looking for the best AND easiest way to make rosewater? I’d like to use it as a makeup setting spray! Thanks all :slight_smile:

You’ll need about 7-10 rose stems and about 1.5L of distilled water. Remove the petals from the stems and clean them really well. Add them to the water and simmer on low for about 20 minutes. Then, strain the liquid and discard of the petals.

SO easy to make and you can use this as a makeup setter, pillow spray, toner, add it to your bath, or just as a natural perfume :slight_smile:

Just made some today…it was soo easy :slight_smile:
Washed a whole bouquet or rose petals in the sink, placed them in a pot, covered with bottled water, and brought up to a boil. Then, simmered on lowest heat for about half an hour. Strained the rosewater and discarded the petals. Once done, let it cool in a glass container and place in the fridge!
