Why does my breath become so hot after applying skincare products?

I’m not sure I quite understand your question. Your breath becomes hot or your skin?
My breath from my nose and mouth feels really warm. My mom used to say that the face pack is sucking all the heat out of my face 
but I wonder if it is something else?
I can’t say I’ve ever heard of that to be honest, but maybe if you’re applying a sheet mask, it could be a little harder to breathe as the material is over the nose. Personally, it doesn’t sound like anything that would be a cause for concern.
