I know this is kind of a weird question, but I’d like to change my hair color, and want it to be something that will look AMAZING! Right now, I have light brown hair, and would like to go lighter, but just not sure how much lighter. I also have a pretty fair complexion, so I don’t want something that’ll wash me out or look lackluster. What do you gals recommend??
Hi @roxxxy! As a general rule, it’s best to stay within your color wheel. This means that while you can definitely go lighter, you should opt to go for the shade that your natural hair color is. So if you have warm brunette hair, go for a warm honey blonde, or any warm hair colors.
god it’s SO incredibly hard to know! Even when all of these charts and stuff, it’s still really hard to know. I think the best thing is to always go gradual. So try not to go above 2 shades lighter or darker than your hair color. From there on, make slow and gradual changes.
